M.S. is now M.Phil in Consciousness Studies
Oct. 6, 2015: We are pleased to inform you that the Senate of BITS Pilani has formally approved the change of degree nomenclature of the Master of Science (M.S.) Consciousness Studies programme to Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) Consciousness Studies, with effect from the academic year 2015-2016.
The programme structure and curriculum of the M.Phil. programme remains the same as that of the corresponding M.S. Consciousness Studies programme.
The input requirements and graduation requirements of the M.Phil. programme also remain the same as those of the M.S. programme.
All continuing students of the M.S. programme would be provided with an option to seek a transfer to the corresponding M.Phil. programme in due course of time. However, such an option will not be provided for students who have become eligible for graduation before August 2015.
