About the Speaker

Prof. Walter Freeman is a neuro-biologist who is well known for his measurement and analysis of the EEG of the cortex during goal directed behavior. He has over 200 publications in international journals; among his books are Neurodynamics: an exploration in mesocopic brain dynamics, Reclaiming cognition: the primacy of action, intention and emotion, and How Brains make up their minds. He is a member of the International Advisory Board of the Bhaktivedanta Institute.
